Day and Picnic, Rockford, IL Relax under the shade trees or go out to the coursing field with your dogs. This year, in addition to the picnic, lure coursing runs and some agility practice, the club is offering two new features. First, attend this hands-on session covering the structure of a basenji. Here's your opportunity to learn how this little dog is put together and why. From MILWAUKEE: Take I-43 to Beloit, WI. Exit to 1-90 East (Chicago). Exit west (right) from 1-90 at Rt. 173. This exit has an auto-toll (30 cents/60 cents.) Go west approximately 4 miles. [Note: Rt. 173 becomes Ralston Rd. once you cross Rt. 251, and then turns to Latham Rd. when you cross the river] After crossing the river, go approx. 1/2 miles to Old River Road. Turn north (right) and go 1/2 mile. Driveway is on the west (left) side of the road. From CHICAGO: Take I-90 West to Rockford. Exit at the Rt. 173 exit. (30 cent toll for IPASS users; 60 cents no IPASS) Follow directions above after exiting at Rt. 173. |
