Bo

Age: 1 year  Sex: neutered male  

Location: Southeastern WI

Bo is a confident, high-energy brindle boy who is always on the lookout for fun and adventure.  

Bo is housebroken and does very well in his crate.  While he has not been destructive in the house or yard, he is charmingly mischievous in typical basenji fashion.  He loves to spend time outdoors stalking squirrels and birds, but he also likes to check in on household happenings frequently.  Bo's wish list would include a tolerant canine playmate and a doggy door.  He does need a very secure, fenced yard as he can be an escape artist when motivated to continue the hunt. 

Bo has started positive-reinforcement training, and he is making wonderful progress.  He is, however, a dog who missed out on a lot of early training, so he will need an owner dedicated to continuing his training by providing consistent boundaries and rewards for appropriate behavior.
